Our Story

This journey started with something simple: I was helping plan an event and needed merchandise. Easy enough, right? Except it wasn’t.

I reached out to 14 different vendors, got back 8 quotes, and none of them made sense—different prices for the same product, no consistency, and no real transparency. To make things worse, even big names like VistaPrint were charging different prices in Canada and India for the exact same product from the exact same supplier.

That’s when I decided to look deeper. During a few months in India, I visited manufacturers directly. I spent time in their workshops, watched how things were made, and learned the craft from the ground up. It wasn’t just about products anymore—it was about understanding how design, materials, and care all come together to make something special.

When I came back to Toronto, I knew I wanted to do things differently. In September 2024, I started building Paper Palate with one goal in mind: to make custom products simple, consistent, and personal.
